Conventions and Christmas Sale

Boy, this was sure a year.

Otakuthon went alright, considering plans fell apart, and my friend Nicole was unable to go due to back problems that chose just before the con to make themselves known.

Then heard that the people who do Ottawa Comic Con were suddenly doing a new convention called Ottawa Pop Expo that'd be happening in December, so I took the chance to grab a table there.

So then came Naru2U.... was actually not too bad a year for me. Better than past couple. Then my little sister got married, so went for a trip to Toronto weekend before the Pop Expo... Then came the expo! Sadly it was definitely not the same crowd the ComicCon gets. It was a little quieter and seemed people weren't ready to buy christmas presents (think there were also a LOT of crafter artists AND dealers, so there was a fair bit of over saturation going on.) Made back my table, and little else. BUT that's the way these things go. lol

Thus finally ended my con season. I don't think I'll have another event till Anime North, so have awhile to recover and finally get to work on filling up my Etsy.

First things first, however! Every year for past 5 or so years now, I have a Christmas sale of all my left over con stuff, and doing the same thing once more!
